A Post Graduate in Commerce possessing over 17 years of experience in the field of promotion and financing of MSMEs, Microfinance, Financial Structuring is instrumental in spreading the outreach of micro credit wing of Nightingale Charitable Society and with the consistent growth in business enabled transformation of the programme into an NBFC-MFi. Recognized for his vision and leadership in bringing professionalism to the NGO movement particularly in the State of Assam. Presently the Managing Director of Nightingale Finvest Private Ltd., Shri Mantu Nath Sarma, successfully attended the training programme at Washington DC, arranged by Boulder Institute of Microfinance, New York, USA in collaboration with International Finance Corporation for financial inclusion professionals from 28.11.2016 to 02.12.2016 at the International Finance Corporation at Washington, DC.
Mr. Rukunuddin Ahmed, Director
Qualified Civil engineering diploma holder and a NGO activist having more than 17 years experience in micro credit, financial structuring and administration. He is the Treasurer of Nightingale Charitable Society. He is a good co-ordinator and all skill development training programmes conducted by the Company are being co-ordinated by him wherein the less privileged women are encouraged to participate in capacity building and skill development training programmes for building up their confidence. At present he is a Whole-Time Director of the Company and part of core team.
Mr. Pratap Chakravarty, Director
A NGO activist with more than 15 years working experience in micro credit. A graduate in Arts, he is working for empowerment of the less privileged women in rural as well as urban sector through financial intermediation by persistently encouraging them to build up their confidence and to emerge as successful entrepreneurs. Shri Chakravarty is actively involved in various activities relating to micro credit and have good knowledge of operation and management. He is the President of Nightingale Charitable Society, a NGO doing micro credit activities and presently, a Whole-Time Director of Nightingale Finvest Private Ltd.
Smt. Olee Bora, Nominee Director NEDFi
At present she is working as a General Manager of North Eastern Development Finance Corporation Ltd(NEDFi) and is in the Board of Nightingale Finvest Pvt.Ltd. as a Nominee Director from NEDFi since July 2014. Prior to joining NEDFi in 1996, worked as Personnel Officer at erstwhile Bongaigaon Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd .(BRLPL) now IOCL and Tata Energy Research Institute (TERI). She is a graduate from the University of Allahabad and MBA from Gauhati university. She has a PG diploma in training and development from Indian society of training and development(ISTD), New Delhi,to her credit. She has also been nominated by NEFi as a Nominee Director in Kanaklata Mahila Urban Co-Operative Bank Ltd,Jorhat and a few other NBFCs and societies assisted By NEDFi. She has been resource person to a number of NGOs and institute. She is also associated with the Department of Management, Gauhati University and an external expert. She has presented and published papers in national and international conferences.
Ajay Vyas, Independent Director
Mr. Ajay Vyas is an Independent Director inducted in the Board of Nightingale Finvest Pvt.Ltd. He is a qualified Civil Engineer and completed Executive MBA. He is a Retd. Executive Director of UCO Bank who has a good banking knowledge with close association with the operation of microfinance industry. Personally oversaw the launching, leading, and managing of various business verticals. Focused uniquely on customer acquisition which resulted in exemplary growth in the Retail Portfolio while he was with UCO bank. In the 37 years of his career he has consistently delivered strong results and offered strong strategic directions to the business through innovation and organizational leadership for sustainable growth in an evolving market. Instrumental in introducing technology centric solutions and revamped the entire IT infrastructure within the Bank.
Apart from bank, he was also a Director in the Board of various organizations viz. Central Ware House Corporation, New Delhi, Central Ware House Corporation, New Delhi Centre For Entrepreneurship Development Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal, Central Madhya Pradesh Gramin Bank, Chindwara MP.
Mr. Giri Kumar M Nair, Independent Director
Mr. Giri Kumar M Nair (MBA, AIIBE), a professional Banker holding various position at State Bank of India earlier both domestically and internationally as General Manager (Digital Banking & e2e Digitization, Chief General Manager (Digital & Transaction Banking. He served as Chief General Manager of State Bank of India for more than 5 years during which he was as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of SBI Payments & Services Pvt. Ltd with extensive Board level exposure as a Nominee Director. He had made significant contribution in enhancing productivity and profitability, driving a remarkable turnaround in the company through digital transformation. He had also successfully led many teams while in SBI as DGM, AGM, RM and BM. He had promoted a less cash-dependent society and advance financial inclusion through digital payment initiatives while significantly contribution to the Digital India initiatives. Developed Debit Card and Prepaid Card strategies, lunched NCMC Cards, Metro Transit Projects. Lead the team handling SBI Premier Banking Customers (HNI), offering Relationship management and Regulatory Compliance relating to liability products. He is a MBA (Finance) , B.Sc. Mathematics, Certified Banking Compliance Professional (IIBF), Diploma in Business Finance (ICFAI), PG Diploma in Wealth Management , CISI Certificate in Risk in Financial Services (CISI-London/IIBF, Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers, Certificate Course in Corporate Governance (IICA) and Certificate course in Competition Law and Market Regulation (IICA).
