Pankaj Phukan

Pankaj Phukan has been an Advisor at Nightingale Finvest Private Ltd. since October 2024. He retired as Joint Director from the Government of Assam. He was associated with the implementation and monitoring of government development schemes, establishment, accounting and audit work in the Border Areas Department, Directorate of Economics and Statistics and Finance Department in the Government of Assam. Moreover, he was associated with program implementation and monitoring work in the Assam Chief Minister's Secretariat. In his more than 35-year service life, he was associated with crop estimation surveys, crop forecasts, the Fasal Bima Yojana and the preparation of the land utilisation report of Assam in the Directorate of Economics and Statistics; he is also the founder of the Commerce stream of Dispur College, Guwahati.

Presently, he is responsible for strategic planning, risk management, financial oversight, regulatory compliance, capacity building, product development, governance and ethics, stakeholder engagement and monitoring the impact of the work of the company.
